A camphor tablet making machine is a specialized piece of high-pressure manufacturing equipment designed to compress loose camphor powder into solid tablets, cubes, or blocks. Commonly known as a Kapoor machine, it replaces manual molding with automated mechanical presses to serve the vast religious, domestic, and wellness markets. Camphor machines are engineered for industrial durability and continuous operation.The raw camphor powder is first heated slightly to eliminate moisture. It is then fed into a top-mounted hopper. The powder drops into a specific die cavity where mechanical punches apply immense controlled pressure via a heavy flywheel and belt-driven system to mold the material. The finished solid tablets are instantly ejected down a chute into a collection bin. Typically run on a 0.5 HP to 1 HP single-phase motor (compatible with home electricity). These use a 5-punch or 6-die configuration and yield roughly 1,000 to 2,000 tablets per hour.Heavy-Duty Industrial Models: Utilize 10 to 20 die configurations powered by a 2 HP+ motor. They are capable of high-speed manufacturing, producing 3,000 to 5,000+ pieces per minute or up to 150 kg of camphor per hour. By simply swapping out the internal cast dies or molds, a single machine can switch between producing round tablets, square cubes, or distinct customized sizes based on market demands.
